Glory was beautiful and the speech was amazing. Neil Patrick Harris was on stage in his underwear. Patricia arquette spoke for equal pay. Meryl Streep’s reaction is now a meme. Boyhood was snubbed. Christmas came early for Eddie Redmayne. Birdman took home lots of gold. Into the woods thankfully didn’t. Lady gaga can actually sing. Everything is awesome was creepy. John Travolta likes Idina Menzel’s chin. Some great individuals were snubbed, such as Selma’s director and The cast of Selma, as well as Boyhood director. And others were recognized. Yet, inspiration prevailed no matter the winners. The Tonys and Grammys don’t really matter to me, so I’ll be waiting a while for the next award show. see ya next year, Oscar.

I'm from Florida, a junior at the University of Central Florida. Currently, I'm a political science-IR major. I'm a Thespian, avid traveler and explorer of all things worth exploring. Hoarder of books and movies, and caretaker to my beloved camera and piano. I think conformity and math are terrible, but vegetarianism and nature conservation are awesome. Traveling is also a huge passion of mine, I thank my parents for that, as they have taken my 2 sisters and I around the world. I have been to South Africa, multiple places in Europe, Turkey and Canada, as well as other states in the U.S. I have a variety of interests from photography to theatre to the great outdoors. Growing up, I always felt an urge to get out in the world, explore and be actively involved in efforts dedicated to making changes in the world, impacting something or someone in a inspirational and positive way. It's important to notice what is happening in the world, to fight for what is good and what is right. As someone who is diagnosed with clinical depression and ADHD, I am an advocate for mental health education and thus one of the cornerstones for the foundation of this blog was writing to inspire others;to say, whether it's through a review or a poem, that the human experience is a hard one but worthwhile. This blog covers entertainment, travel, current events and personal pieces as well. Thanks for stopping by! :)
